What's Up, Oh Our Dearest Friends?

There was a day after my personal grievance when enormous people from different cities, Jabodetabek domination I guess, congregated to give a speech of blasphemy allegation. Wearing white cloaks and brought speaker with sound-system, they marched from arterial to the main road to inundate Jakarta. Proposed to fight for the truth, they addressed aspirations to our honor president.

During demonstration, the situation was very condusive and well-organized. Seen that many volunteers helped to clean rubbishes and give others foods. Those occured the best action of human-civilization that should be applied interminably.

But then, something unpleasant yet unpredictable happened. The weakness vanquished over generosity, imploded hostility and racism. Those beautiful white colored by darkness then sparked throughout the world. The spoken-persons turned into hatred and the messages shrouded in political intentions. Moreover, the violents overthrew and blamed convenient stores. A rumor conveyed the insurrection of 1998's coup d'etat. There was very dramatical villainy as it might not happen as well. Unfortunately, that demonstration ended up with mischievous records broadcasted by majority of mass media as decisive action againts government.

Shall we just stood still in our comfortable place? Could we rectify it to be more positive instead?

As my perspective, the answer is yes we surely can, and we must do it. It had better to evaluate about the purpose of demonstration. Is it purely all about insisting the law enforcement of blasphemy allegetion or any negative politic agenda influenced groups to loud its voices? If the alleged person as known as Ahok has not the governor of Jakarta and not the incumbent of next election and also he is a moslem, would groups of people do protest upon him voluntarily?

Learning from last month, as a moslem, I believe that moslem has a peaceful religious practice to spread all universe, include human as adherence. There is no violent actions to other religions. But, caring and sharing have been able to alter other's heart to a positive way. To be the best my recollection, on one fine day when The Prophet Muhammad came along a lane, there was a blind-beggar who always blame him loudly. However, Muhammad always give him some foods for supper and holded his hands tenderly. The beggar was not known that reality and continued to insult him outrageously. One day, Muhammad has passed away. The beggar confused. He realised the generous one who has sleek hands had never visited him again. He asked somebody. They told, he was Muhammad, the compassion young adult you humiliated everyday. The beggar confessed his wrongdoing and promised to change his habit to be more positive. If I am not mistaken, he become a moslem, afterward.

Based on that one of many lesson learned exemplified by The Prophet Muhammad over life span, would we, as a moslem, be disavowed by an offence?

Let us reflect. A peaceful consolation amid us would embrace ubiquitously beyond the mere certain religions. Hence, it's all about us to evolve our dignity and guard our integrity as Indonesian, not about esoteric yourself, oh dearest friends
